To flip computer screen in Windows 10, right-click your monitor, then select the command "Display Settings." In Windows 7, then right-click the button "Display Resolution."

You will be moved to the Preferences> Program > Display window on Windows 10. You will end up in Control Panel > Appearance and Customization> Display > Display Settings on Windows 7

Locate the Orientation option under Resolution, click the drop-down menu below, then select your preferred screen orientation— Landscape, Portrait, Landscape (flipped) or Portrait (flipped) — This window looks different on Windows 7, but has the same Orientation options. If you don't see a screen orientation option on Windows 10 or Windows 7 Control Panel, try updating.

If you are using standard video drivers that are not appropriate for the graphics hardware of your device, this choice may be missing.

How to Flip Computer Screen With Hotkeys

Some PCs have hotkeys that, when pressed, flip computer screen quickly. The Intel graphics drivers provide these, and they are only available on some PCs. If the screen of your PC rotated abruptly when you pressed something on the keyboard, you may have inadvertently triggered the hotkey

Click Ctrl+Alt+Arrow to rotate the display with hotkeys. Ctrl+Alt+Up Arrow, for example, returns your screen to the normal upright rotation, Ctrl+Alt+Right Arrow rotates your screen 90 degrees, Ctrl+Alt+Down Arrow rotates it upside down (180 degrees), and Ctrl+Alt+Left Arrow rotates it 270 degrees.

Using the Hot Key Manager feature in the Intel Graphics Control Panel on your PC, you can modify or disable these hotkeys. Right-click your screen to activate it, then pick "Intel Graphics Settings" or press Ctrl+Alt+F12 to open the Intel control panel. Tap Options, then go to Hot Key Manager Support.

If you don't see your PC using the Intel Graphics Settings feature, you probably don't use Intel graphics. If you don't see the shortcuts on the screen of the Hot Key Director, they won't be available on your Mac.
